About Conference
This year marks the 35th year of the Utah Early Childhood Conference.
Attended by early childhood professionals in Utah and surrounding states, the conference is presented by the Utah Inter-Institutional Consortium and the Utah Association for the Education of Young Children (UAEYC). The Inter-Institutional Consortium, which consists of colleges and universities from all over Utah, and UAEYC hosted their own conferences for many years, but merged in the late 1990s to combine their resources and efforts. Every year, the conference is organized by a committee of professionals from the various institutions, UAEYC, and the early childhood community.
Although the conference has been held at various colleges and universities in Utah (including Weber State and Salt Lake Community College), most recently, the conference has been hosted at Utah Valley University.
