Description: PICCOLO stands for Parenting Interactions with Children: Checklist of Observations Linked to Outcomes. It is a new measure of positive parenting interactions that can be used for family assessment, intervention planning, and program evaluation in Early Head Start and similar programs.
This workshop will provide basic information on the PICCOLO measure and show brief video examples of the parenting behaviors included in the measure. We will give participants and brief overview of what PICCOLO is, how it was developed, and how to use it in working with families.
